The church is open to anyone who would like to attend in person and we also stream most services live on Zoom. Links to pre-register for services on Zoom are further down this page.
We are currently in an interregnum. Our new priest, Father Stuart Labran will join us in January. His Collation and Induction will be held at St Mary’s on Wednesday 11 January 2023.
We are the Church of England parish for the area to the west of the Elephant and Castle. The church is on Kennington Park Road, a few hundred yards from Kennington tube station. We are a very mixed congregation, attracting people of all ages and backgrounds. We speak loads of different languages. And yet we come together as the family of God to worship as brothers and sisters. We are a relaxed, informal church, centred on the Eucharist.
Our main Sunday service is at 10 am and lasts for about an hour and a quarter.
Junior Church is semi-operational during the Sunday Mass: the side chapel (which has windows onto the church) is available for parents and guardians to use with their children. Activities are provided but currently there is not a Junior Church teacher/supervisor.
We also have a small mid-week Eucharist on Tuesday evenings at 7pm.
On the last Tuesday of the month this is followed by a Discussion Group: see Bible Reading Plan.
We are streaming our regular services on the Zoom platform.
